New Super Luigi U Review
The Year of Luigi continues with New Super Luigi U which is a DLC of New Super Mario Bros. U that is available now. It is also now a standalone disc that is coming out with a later date. Despite not a lot of effort into the presentation, the classic gameplay of New Super Mario Bros. U fits perfectly in the game which gives Luigi a time to shine.
It isn't the same game as usual. Luigi now jumps higher and even floats in the air a little bit. The way he moves make him more clumsy with him sliding almost all over the place. As you get farther into the game, you get to see what Luigi differs from Mario which makes the game different from New Super Mario Bros. U.
Simple as this, I honestly think that 2013 is Year of Luigi and seeing Luigi star in so many games and skits makes me rethink the franchise. In my opinion, I want more games that star Luigi in them. He's just a cool character that should stop collecting ghosts in his mansion. I rate New Super Luigi U a 8.7 out of 10.
