Trolling Tuesdays Wrap-Up:

On Trolling Tuesdays, we sort of didn't do a troll, but it was still hilarious. We had Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat who has been criticized for being "fruity" or looking like a dinosaur. So, in NBA 2K13, he actually turned into a legit dinosaur. Check it out:

CLASSIC SATURDAYS: Resident Evil 4 (2000s GC) Review - MGR SELECT

Resident Evil 4 is amazing and is one of the best games that are on the GameCube hands down. Oh and did I forget to say its the best Resident Evil game ever? Yeah. It's frightening jump scares get me everytime and the presentation really sparked up a new fire in Capcom's Resident Evil franchise.

What I enjoyed was the cutscenes. It's as if I was watching a cartoon horror movie during the 90s if I didn't know I was watching a Resident Evil 4 cutscene. Speaking of the visuals, the graphics are amazing and I guess I could say it enhances my feels if that makes sense. Anyways, the sound effects really gets your heart to beat faster and faster. While the gameplay is also amazing with the exciting, rewarding, and intense boss fights. I really enjoyed the unlockables and I found myself trying to unlock something exciting.

To be honest with you guys, nothing is really bad with Resident Evil 4. It's easily the best game in the RE franchise and is one of the best GameCube games. Like almost every classic game I review for Classic Saturdays, this game has a very special place in my heart so I rate Resident Evil 4 a perfect 10 out of 10 and it's no doubt it is a MGR Select.

TOP 5 FRIDAYS: Top 5 Nintendo Franchises

Hello Gamers!
Welcome to this week's Top 5 Fridays! This week on Top 5, I put up my list of the Top 5 Nintendo Franchises. Let's go!

5. Kirby

A pink puff of marshmallow or unknown substance sucking up their enemies is probably one of the most awesome and most sexual things I have ever seen. But, it's always fun, right? That is just one of the reasons why Kirby will always be so dear to my heart.

4. Metriod

Despite not having a single Metriod reboot anytime as I am aware of, I still love Metriod. With the 2DS coming out, everyone would like to have it so the 2DS can have some sales I'm guessing.

3. Pokemon

One of the best RPGs in the whole world. 'Nuff said.

2. Mario

The classic, Mario. Jumping on Goobas and Koopas never get old, but saving Princess Peach does. Despite almost the same story line, I find myself always loving the Mario franchise.

1. The Legend of Zelda

Smashing people's pots to saving the helpless Zelda also never gets old. Slashing with your Master Sword and the awesome music is always heartwarming to every gamers' heart.

Well, that's it for this week's Top 5 Fridays. Stay tuned for tomorrow's Classic Saturdays!

Little Galaxy Review

The simple, colorful and gloomy world of Little Galaxy, is one of the most fun I have ever had with an app. The sometimes cute visuals caught my eye as if it really reminded me of an indie game that came to The App Store. I found myself enjoying the graphics and the simple gameplay.

The gameplay is not complicated at all. Timing is everything in Little Galaxy while you have to time your jumps by tapping to get to the other platform or planet. The game gets pretty challenging once you get farther into the game so it will leave you playing the same level for days. Even weeks. Although, I am a very impatient person meaning that I failed my jumps most of the time and I had to start the level again. Little Galaxy is not for impatient people so I recommend this app to people who can wait to win. Anywho, the game is pretty much an endless runner without the running. Endless runners are everywhere now on The App Store so this is a big no no.

Overall, the game is pretty fun, but can get old quick. The game will suck you in quickly, but I can't see someone play hours and hours of playing Little Galaxy for almost the whole day. I rate Little Galaxy a 7.7 out of 10.

TIPS/TRICKS THURSDAYS: How to Play and Not Play RTS Games

Hey guys, MG here with Tips and Tricks Thursday.  Today I will teach you guys how to look good in RTS games (XCOM, March of War, etc) First of all, you should always have a good attitude.  A happy enemy is usually more fun to talk to and fight because they are more focused on having some fun.  Second, spread out so you can cover multiple areas, bad units where there isn' much action, good units in what would be the middle lane in LoL.  Lastly, always use abbreviations.  They make you look pro and make chatting much faster and easier.  Thats it for now, see you guys later! Stay tuned for tomorrow's Top 5 Fridays!

7 Days To Die Review

Hey guys, Mg here with another review, this time for 7 Days to Die.  7DTD is a cool game with many elements from differnet genres such as TD, FPS, and Survival.  The only things I dissagree with are the Graphics and the Minecraft-like crafting recipes.  The Crafting GUI is very similiar to Minecraft since you have to shape it like what it would be in real life, and it has 'very unique' base matierials. (Sticks and Iron Ingots) Now, onto the crappy graphics.  The visuals that would be breathtaking in nearly any other Voxel- Based Game are extrenely disappointing and the zed's heads don't give that invigorating explosion like in many other Zambies games.  The iron sights can be confusing too so i will give this game a 6 out of 10.
Pewdiepie signin' out! Lol :3

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Release Dates Announced

Today, Nintendo has announced the release dates for both the digital version and disc version of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. On September 20, 2013, the game will release as a digital copy. While on October 4, 2013, the game will release as a disc copy.

The game will be at retail price for $49.99.

Nintendo Announces New Nintendo 2DS

Today, Nintendo has announced it's new handheld of the Nintendo 2DS. As from the name of the console, the handheld device will feature games in 2D and not in 3D. At first, I seriously thought it was a joke, but, nope I was wrong.

One of the features on the 2DS is that the device doesn't fold like the 3DS and the normal DS. The retail price for it is $129.99 and comes in red and blue. The 2DS will release on October 12, 2013 which is the same date for Pokemon X and Y to release. Lastly, the Nintendo 2DS can play DS and 3DS games.

WEAPON WEDNESDAYS: Batarang from Arkham City

Hello Gamers!
Today on Weapon Wednesdays, we feature the Caped Crusader's very own, Batarang from Arkham City. The Batarang was one of my favorite weapons that Batman used whenever I had the time to read the comics. It's one of my favorite weapons in Arkham City, and is arguably one of the best weapons in Batman history.

Why I love it so much is that it's pretty much Arkham City and Australia made a baby and boom! The Batarang was born. When playing Arkham City, I had a blast slashing people with a bommerang with a bat design on it. All I can say is, I'm pretty excited to try out the Batarang in Arkham Origins.

Well, that's it for this week's Weapon Wednesdays! Stay tuned for tomorrow's Tips/Tricks Thursdays.

Madden NFL 25 Review

Madden NFL returns with Madden NFL 25. With twenty five years of Madden, does the franchise finally live up to it's name or does it cry out a river made out of football players' sweat? Let's find out.

First off, it does suck you in and is still fun with friends just like every sports game. The game feeds you well with the greatness of NFL football. The mechanic is fun, and I found myself enjoying both offense and defense. What I didn't like is that I seriously didn't see a change from the last Madden game. Also, the new Connected Franchise mode lacks on a lot of levels.

Overall, the game is mediocre. The game got a lot of hype considering it's been twenty five years of Madden and I was enjoying the cover vote of New School vs Old School. Honestly, I hope the game fixes these huge annoying things I found in the game and just change the games' gameplay mechanic overall. I rate Madden NFL 25 a 6.5 out of 10.

Rayman Legends Review - MGR SELECT

A cute, "silent but deadly" platform game is one of the most easiest ways to describe Rayman Legends. Oops, did I forget a word? Oh yeah, the game is, well, awesome. Rayman and friends jump through obstacles and clash with some of the most wackiest animals you have ever seen in one of the best platforming games of 2013.

What I want to tell you guys first is that I played the Wii U version of the game for the review and also played it on the PS3 and Xbox 360. My honest opinion, is that the game works the best when it's played on the Wii U and dominates when it's compared to the PlayStation and Xbox. The Wii U is the console to go if you're excited to play some sweet platformers. Anyways, back to the review. The gameplay was great and the Co-Op was a blast and is one of the most fun I have ever had with my friends. Ubisoft really delivers in this Rayman game.

Also, I had a great time listening to it's soundtrack. The clever music really goes along with the action-packed levels Ubisoft brings to the table. The replay value is absolutely high and is really fun. Although, I just thought that at some moments of the game the graphics looked a bit dull and that I couldn't go play some online Co-Op. If it did, I'd rate this game a 10 out of 10, no doubt.

Overall, Ubisoft did a really fantastic job and is continuing to impress in the Rayman franchise. The Co-Op is the most fun I've ever had with my friends, and it offers great fun for all ages. I enjoyed the music and the replay value is exceptionally high. Although, I just thought that the graphics looked a bit dull at some moments and that they're isn't an online Co-Op. Anyways, this game is epic so I rate Rayman Legends a 9.5 out of 10.

TROLLING TUESDAYS: NBA 2K13 Trolling

Hello Gamers!
Welcome to this week's Trolling Tuesdays! Here on Trolling Tuesdays we go to NBA 2K13. This isn't really considered trolling, but we feature the Miami Heat's Chris Bosh who has been criticized by many people including MonkeyGamer & I for looking a bit fruity and looking a lot like a dinosaur. Well, now in NBA 2K13, Chris Bosh actually turns into a legit dinosaur!

Trust me guys, you've seen it here, next few months when Chris Bosh is on the court, he'll be turning into a dinosaur in any second.

Anyways, that's it for this week's Trolling Tuesdays. Stay tuned for tomorrow's Weapon Wednesdays!
