Saints Row IV Review

It seems that the making of Saints Row IV was a very "exciting" roller coaster ride. After THQ going bankrupt, and Saints Row IV was refused classification in Australia, for being too inappropriate in other words. Well, after all the trouble Saints Row has been stirring lately, does it's hype lead up to it's troubles?

On the first hand, the Dildo Bat is now the Tentacle Bat. Although, if you think about it, The Dubstep Gun is pretty much the Dildo Bat of Saints Row IV. In the new Saints Row, you are in charge to save the world from aliens. What I enjoyed about the game is that the open world game style never gets old and the weapon variety is great. Also, the graphical effects aren't bad also. Lastly, the radio feature is a great feature also the dialogue will fill you with some mild laughs. What I didn't enjoy is that some dialogue can't get pretty annoying and the weapons seem to just be the same just different uses and names of them. Lastly, I found my game to be freezing during missions.

The game is great, but is nowhere near as good as what THQ did with Saints Row The Third. I still had a great time with the game. Volition didn't do a horrible job, but it was sort of impressive. I rate Saints Row IV a 8.3 out of 10.
